  1. Are there any entrance exams necessary for acceptance into CISCM global?
    CISCM global is a professional institution; we do not require entrance examinations that a traditional or regional school may require, for direct membership admission into Associate, Full Members and Fellow Membership. But if you are under 18 years of age with ordinary school level, you will be required to write our online examinations or through our affiliate office worldwide.

    2. How do I get my text books?
    Textbook selections are periodically reviewed for each course in order to provide you with the latest on the course subject. When you register for the professional programme, necessary books will be sent to your address by courier after payment.

    3. Can I get some exemptions/ credits transfer from my Diploma, B.Sc, MBA or Professional Certificates?
    Yes. If you have prior College/University certificates or similar professional body certificate, you could seek for some exemptions from a licensed institution towards your professional programme. Many students completely satisfy their general education requirements through transfer credit and work experience. Email us today for an academic evaluation and feel free to contact us with any questions regarding academic and work experience.

    Professional certification offers individuals a wide range of important benefits. The certification designation demonstrates to current and potential employers that the employee possesses a solid foundation of experience and education in a field of endeavor that can have a positive impact on bottom-line results. Certification symbolizes knowledge and accomplishment and is highly regarded by colleagues and employers. As a Chartered Supply Chain Professional, the employee can proudly join a successful group of professionals who are enriching and advancing their careers and their chosen professions.   3. What do I do if I need help in my course of work?
    In professional courses, you will be expected to do your course of work by yourself or at any of our accredited training colleges. If you need help to understand academic concepts and theories, you are encouraged to consult with your institute in CISCM. We will forward your query to the appropriate faculty member whenever you need tutorial assistance. You can either email or send your question by letter or e-mail to CISCM affiliate office, and we will try our best to answer you back as quickly as possible.

    If I change my country of residence, will it affect my studies?
    No, we will help you where ever you are.

  4. How can I be sure that CISCM Certificate is a valuable Qualification?
    The true recognition of any professional certificate comes from its voluntary acceptance by the business, professional and academic communities. Many organizations all over the world have either reimbursed all or a portion of a student’s tuition during or after the professional program was completed. We strongly suggest you check with your human resources department prior to enrolling to see if they will offer you tuition reimbursement towards CISCM.
  5. Does Certification Impact Salary Levels?
    Supply Chain Management Professionals earn almost $15,000 more per year than non-certified purchasing and supply management professionals, according to Purchasing Magazine’s 2004 Salary Survey. The survey reveals that Chartered Purchasing and Supply Chain Management professionals earn an average of $80,800 per year. Professionals without certification earn an average of $66,300 per year.

    Annual salaries from this year’s respondents range from $15,000 to $270,000. Median salaries for professionals in supply management rose 5%, to $63,000, an increase of $3,000 over last year’s numbers. Since 1981, professionals in supply management have seen their salaries rise 114%, with 48% of this increase occurring within the last ten years. Additionally, more professionals are receiving bonuses as part of their total compensation. More than half of the survey respondents, (55%) indicate they received bonuses in 2004. Bonuses for these professionals averaged just over 10% of their annual base pay.

    The survey also indicates that Chartered Professionals have an average of four more years experience than do non-certified professionals. This figure corresponds directly to compensation. The typical age of survey participants was 45.6 years of age. Salaries for this group (41 to 50 years) averaged $72,300 per year.

    Education continues to be one of the most important factors related to upward mobility within the supply management profession, according to the survey. Almost three quarters of the participants (71%) have a college degree or a certification. Better educated professionals receive the highest ranking professional positions, have the most responsibilities, work for larger companies and have a higher earning potential.

    12. Does Certification help a purchasing or supply chain professional get hired and/or promoted?
    This is a perennial question and one which can be answered only in an immediate, organizational context. Most managers (but not all) support professional certification and prefer to hire and promote those who are chartered. If the manager is him/herself chartered, the odds are that he/she will favor those who are similarly chartered. Promotions of course depend on your performance after you get hired. My experience is that excellent performance coupled with professional certification provides an unbeatable combination and a sure-fire route to promotion!! Our experience again tells us that “certification is the “Housekeeping Seal of Approval”. It provides “the racer’s edge” when everything else (education, background, experience, etc.) is equal!

  1. How do I choose my courses?
    We strongly advise you to select courses which are compatible with your occupational and professional objectives. You should relate your course of study to your career path. This way, your course is directly applicable to your work, and will help you refine and build on your previous knowledge and experience. After you enroll, you will be sent course syllabus, model question papers for each course selected.

    15. How long is the degree program?
    We are working with some Universities in Costa Rica, through her partner in United State in America to award bachelor’s degrees in any of the following courses B.Sc in Logistics and Transport, B.Sc in International Business, B.Sc in Project Management, B.Sc in Management, B.Sc in Stores and Materials Management, B.Sc in Purchasing and Supply Management, B.Sc in Business Administration and Management, B.Sc in Logistic and Supply Management to every student who enrolls in CISCM global examination or programmes, be simultaneously enrolled for Bachelors degree at Universities under Credit Transfer System and be awarded a degree upon completion of our Foundation, Intermediate and Professional Examination Stage I.

These Universities in Costa Rica will re-enroll you after the award of a bachelor’s degree for its MBA programme under Credit Transfer System and will allotted another ID to you. Upon successful completion of our Professional Stage II (Final level) and submission to the University of a Research Project/Thesis in relevant areas, these universities in Costa Rica will issue MBA degree to the candidates at this level, this enables the student to finish his or her program faster than a normal degree courses.
